CONDO UNITS at the Trump International Hotel and Tower at
Waikiki Beach Walk sold out in one day of sales totaling $700
million. Work is set to begin on the building in December, with
completion set for 2009. Prices for the units ranged from $500,000
for a lower floor studio to $9 million for three-bedroom penthouse.
HONUA
KAI, a condo development on Maui's Kaanapali Beach has
announced that the complex's Konea tower will have a rooftop spa.
The first Honua Kai tower sold out in eight hours in 2005, and
brisk sales are anticipated for the Konea tower. Completion is
scheduled for late 2009. Playground Destination Properties, an

RENDEZVOUS
TOURS, a Hawaii-based tour operator, has announced the
winners of its 2006 Hawaii Travel Industry Awards. Over 300 travel
agents participated in an online vote to determine the best hotel
property in five categories. Winners were the Hilo Hawaiian on the
Big Island (best moderate), the Ala Moana Hotel in Honolulu (best
superior), the Four Seasons Hualalai on the Big Island (best
luxury) and the Fairmont Kea Lani Maui (best overall).
ATLANTIS
NAVATEK CRUISES has added seasonal menu options to its
Royal Sunset Dinner off Waikiki, including shrimp cocktail kebobs
(skewered shrimp, sweet pineapple and cocktail sauce), lomi lomi
salmon, grilled shrimp with sweet chili sauce and poached salmon
with dill sauce and capers. The five-course Royal Sunset Dinner
features steak and lobster, three premium cocktails, entertainment
