Travel Weeklys Home-based Agent E-letter: June 12, 2006

VACATION.COM is putting the final touches on plans for its International Conference and Trade Show, June 18 to 22 in Las Vegas. The agency network said it has expanded its Technology Learning Center with a third hands-on computer lab classroom and new training courses. New sessions include a print marketing class and several courses on Vacation Vignettes, the cruise program sold exclusively through the Vacation.com CruiseCentre. In conjunction with the technology program, Vacation.com, also will host an interactive marketing showcase titled “The Vacation.com Experience.” Vacation.com staff and representatives from various technology providers will be on hand to conduct product demos, answer questions, and distribute product literature and documentation. Get details about the conference at www.agentnet.com/conference.

TRISEPT SOLUTIONS said it has completed its planned integration of VAX VacationAccess and ClientEase, a CRM database for home-based agents. ClientEase allows agents to organize client information, including travel histories and marketing preferences, from any Internet connection. Agents can also perform marketing and accounting activities and track commissions. Through June, VAX VacationAccess agents are eligible for a special introductory rate for registering for ClientEase. Details are at www.vaxvacationaccess.com.
