New testing deadlines for entry into Antigua and Barbuda take effect Oct. 1, according to Colin James, CEO of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority.
All arriving visitors, whether vaccinated or not, must submit a negative PCR test result taken within four days of arrival. Until then, the seven-day window for the PCR result remains in place.
Children below age 5 are not required to be tested. Anyone 5 and over must have the PCR test within four days to to enter, down from the current 12-and-over requirement.
The requirements to complete a travel accommodation form and submit to a temperature check upon arrival will remain in place.
Visitors who complete a successful screening are not required to quarantine once booked at a certified accommodation (at least 160 hotels and villa properties are certified).
