The Botany, a new villa option on St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, is set to open this winter within The Preserve at Botany Bay, a 300-acre private nature preserve located on the island's western tip.
Located minutes from Cyril E. King International Airport, the gated community will have 20 villas and direct access to Sandy Bay Beach.
The Botany will be anchored by two distinct pools: the wave-inspired Sequence Pool overlooking the bay and the oceanfront Legacy Pool. Wellness amenities include a full-service spa with three treatment rooms, a hot tub, a fitness center and an adjacent yoga pavilion.
Dining options center on Ginger Thomas, a fine-dining restaurant named after the USVI's national flower. The restaurant will offer a contemporary take on Caribbean flavors. A boutique coffee shop provides light bites, specialty brews and custom beach picnics.
The Botany will primarily operate off the local grid and will rely heavily on solar power, with grazing goats managing the surrounding brush. Every villa and public structure is built to harvest and store rainwater, while reclaimed materials are featured throughout the property's design.
