Several Caribbean destinations have adjusted their entry protocols.

For more, see our full listing of Covid-related entry requirements for all Caribbean destinations.

Aruba

U.S. visitors now have the option of taking an antigen test one day before arrival or a PCR test two days prior to arrival. There is no longer the option to test upon arrival. Visitors age 12 and over who have tested positive between 10 days and 12 weeks prior to travel date to Aruba and do not show any symptoms are exempt from the negative Covid test result for entry.

Cayman Islands

Children under the age of 5 are not subject to pre-arrival and are required to undergo the same testing requirements as adults or on-site testing; children between 5 and 11 years old are required to undergo the same testing requirements as adults. Children 11 years old and younger can travel with vaccinated adults regardless of the child's vaccination status. All inbound travelers 5 years and older must provide a negative rapid test result or a PCR result taken no earlier than the day before arrival. Three lateral-flow tests are required on days 2, 5 and 7, but a test on day 10 no longer is required. Persons who test positive must isolate for seven days and take a PCR test with a negative result before being released from quarantine.

Jamaica

U.S. travelers who test positive for Covid-19 during their stay can exit quarantine after five days as long as they are asymptomatic or have had mild symptoms that are resolving, as per a physician's evaluation. Travelers who have symptoms after five days must complete a 10-day quarantine.

St. Barts

All travelers must show proof of vaccination and a negative antigen or PCR test no more than 48 hours before arrival.

St. Maarten/St. Martin

Fully vaccinated kids 5 and over must show a negative RT-PCR test within 48 hours or antigen test within 24 hours prior to arrival. Kids age 5 and over not fully vaccinated must show negative RT-PCR test within 48 hours of arrival. No test is required for kids younger than 5 years.
