Island Routes Caribbean Adventures will launch a tour series on March 1 called Mini-Routes, pegged as a new way to experience Jamaica.
Guests will explore the island in new Mini Cooper vehicles, escorted by an island guide. The fleet of Minis features a range of models, such as convertibles, two-door models for couples and four-door vehicles for families
Starting routes will go from Montego Bay to Ocho Rios and from Montego Bay to Negril with stops at culinary, historical and adventure locations and landmarks.
"I've had the privilege of living the 'island life' and it's something I truly value, so it's very satisfying for my team and me to share our island and home region with the world," said Adam Stewart, CEO, Island Routes. "We're constantly looking for ways to engage all ages and offer experiences that everyone will love."
On the Ocho Rios route, guests will visit local food spots and hike to waterfalls. The Negril route passes through fishing villages, stops at a local coconut vendor, visits Seven Mile Beach and takes in a Jamaican jerk cooking demonstration.
Prices start at $225 per person, based on two people sharing a vehicle.
