JetBlue will expand its Caribbean network out of South
Florida with the launch of daily service between Fort Lauderdale
and Santiago, Dominican Republic, on June 14.
The carrier also will begin daily service from Fort
Lauderdale to Grand Cayman in October.
Both routes are subject to government approval.
Spirit Airlines will launch service between Fort Lauderdale
and Cap-Haitian on Haiti's north coast on April 12.
The year-round flight will be offered three times a week.
