Registration has opened for the 2020 Caribbean Travel Marketplace, set for Jan. 21 to 23 at Baha Mar in Nassau.
The annual event, sponsored by the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA), will be held at Baha Mar's Performing Arts and Convention Center, marking the first time the conference will take place at the 1,000-acre resort complex, which opened in 2017.
The 2019 Marketplace, held in Jamaica last January, attracted 148 buyers, 64 of whom were new, including 18 new Chinese entrants.
Collaborating with the CHTA at 2020 Marketplace are the Bahamas Hotel & Tourist Association, the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and the Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board.
