Riu Hotels & Resorts celebrated its 15th anniversary in Jamaica with the opening of the 454-room, $60 million beachfront Riu Reggae on Nov 19.
The Riu Reggae is the company's sixth resort on the island, its third in Montego Bay -- it sits adjacent to the Riu Palace Jamaica and the Riu Montego Bay -- and its second adults-only property.
The all-inclusive resort features five restaurants, four bars, three infinity pools, the Renova Spa and nightly entertainment, including the Pacha disco at the nearby Riu Montego Bay.
Riu's collection debuted in Jamaica with the Riu Tropical Bay in Negril in 2001 and now spans a total of 3,116 rooms.
Introductory rates start at $157 per person, per night, double.
