The Turks and Caicos has made revisions to its entry protocols that are in effect through Feb. 28, 2022.

All visitors 2 years and older must provide a negative Covid-19 RT-PCR or antigen test taken within three days of travel, lowered from the previous mandatory testing age of 10 years old.

Existing entry requirements include application through the pre-travel program and portal TCI Assured, which requires proof of vaccination for visitors 16 years and older, medical/travel insurance that covers medieval and a completed health screening questionnaire. These documents must be uploaded to the portal in advance of arrival.

Any fully vaccinated visitor who tests positive prior to departure must quarantine at their own expense for 10 days and undergo a Covid-19 test on day 7 prior to release.

These updated protocols are in response to the omicron variant.

The Turks and Caicos continues to promote its vaccine campaign among residents, with 80% of the adult population fully vaccinated, according to the Turks and Caicos Islands Tourist Board.
