The second phase of Carlisle Bay Antigua's ongoing, multimillion-dollar renovation is set to debut in October.
Following the redesign of the Ocean Bay, and Garden suites in late 2025, this next stage targets the property's Signature Beach Suites and Carlisle Suites. Led by London designer Miminat Shodeinde alongside co-owner Cara Doherty, the hotel said that the project is tailored towards luxury travelers seeking space and privacy.
The updated two-bedroom Signature Beach Suites introduce an airy, sand-and-sea palette and a second bathroom to accommodate multigenerational travelers.
Meanwhile, the three-bedroom Carlisle Suites are being renamed after iconic local landmarks, such as Rendezvous Bay, Signal Hill, Fig Tree Drive and Great Bird Island. Each will feature timber detailing, expanded lounges, four-poster beds and custom woodcut artworks by Antiguan artist Sallie Harker.
Hotel representatives said that the modern Caribbean aesthetic will feature textured lime wash walls, travertine flooring, walnut, teak and terracotta accents designed to mirror Antigua's natural landscape.
Upgrades to all guest suites, the Entrance Pavilion and Bar and Indigo on the Beach are slated for full completion by November 2027, with future wellness facility enhancements to follow.
