Azamara Onward will receive a makeover during a drydock in early November 2027, emerging with new features for a Nov. 25 sailing from Athens.
The ship will be the second in the Azamara Cruises fleet to receive major upgrades. The fleetwide renovation, an $80 million investment, begins Oct. 31 with Azamara Quest, which will be in drydock for about a month.
Each ship will get an area for the Chef's Table experience; new furnishings in public spaces and staterooms; and updates to the spa, Cabaret Lounge and Discoveries Restaurant. The Azamara Quest will also get a new deck on the forward section of the ship that will have 12 suites, including the line's largest accommodations to date: two 719-square-foot Panorama Suites.
The Azamara Onward's first cruise after the renovation will be a seven-night sailing from Athens to Rome. Bookings open April 7.
