CLIA, WorldCom set marketing pact

NEW YORK -- Communications provider WorldCom will offer cruise-selling travel agents advanced long-distance phone and data services, including Internet access, through a joint marketing agreement with the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA).

Under the agreement, CLIA affiliates will have access to cost-effective communications services and 24-hour support from WorldCom's service center.

The system will help CLIA affiliates "Streamline their communications infrastructure, improve services and lower costs," according to WorldCom.
