The Carnival Breeze returned to service on Thursday, departing on a four-day cruise from Galveston.

The ship is Carnival's third to resume service, following the Carnival Vista from Galveston and Carnival Horizon from Miami in early July.

The cruise will visit Cozumel, Mexico. Five-day Carnival Breeze cruises departing Galveston will call at Cozumel and Costa Maya or Progreso, Mexico.

Later this month, the Carnival Miracle will begin sailing Alaska cruises. The line's newest ship, Carnival Mardi Gras, will sail for the first time from Port Canaveral on July 31.
