Carnival Cruise Line canceled more than a month's worth of cruises on the Carnival Firenze scheduled for this fall.
The 11 affected sailings were scheduled from Oct. 12 to Nov. 16 out of Long Beach, Calif. Each had a duration of three or four days.
They were canceled because of what a Carnival spokesperson referred to as "changes to itinerary plans," which include new itineraries and durations. No details were provided on those itinerary changes.
The cruise line has notified booked guests and travel advisors directly about the change. Guests have the option of booking a comparable sailing with similar accommodations and their original fare or receiving a full refund.
