The Carnival Freedom has a redesigned casino with 100-plus additional gaming machines, plus a refreshed arcade and retail spaces, after the completion of a drydock in Marseilles, France.
Carnival also replaced the ship's whale-tail funnel with a shorter funnel that will allow the Freedom to access more ports.
Itineraries for the Freedom’s 2028-29 season are now open for booking and feature six- and eight-day cruises from Norfolk, Va., to the Bahamas, Eastern Caribbean, Bermuda and Canada.
The Carnival Freedom turns 20 years old next March.
