MIAMI -- Carnival Cruise Lines will decorate its upcoming ship, the Carnival Valor, with depictions of heroes and heroism.

U.S. presidents Washington and Lincoln will be the themes of the Valor's two main restaurants, Neil Armstrong will walk in the One Small Step Dance Club and the Yankees will be the subject of the Bronx Sports Bar.

The ship's atrium will sport an Americana theme, Carnival said, and Joe Farcus, Carnival's longtime interior architect, said there will be "a certain American feel to the decor overall."

Japanese shoguns, Joan of Arc and Winston Churchill, meanwhile, will be the inspiration for other public rooms, Carnival said.

The 110,000-ton vessel will debut in Miami in December.
