Carnival Cruise Line will continue to offer Carnival
Journeys voyages in 2018 and early 2019.
These select cruises of nine days or longer offer special
programming and visit ports that often aren't featured on other Carnival
itineraries. The line introduced the Carnival Journeys product in 2015.
Guests on the cruises can explore the southern Caribbean,
Hawaii, Alaska and the Panama Canal.
The Carnival Journeys format includes the Authentic Eats
program, in which Carnival partners with local restaurants and chefs to provide
onboard cooking demonstrations and the chance to dine at the chef's onshore restaurant
for a nominal fee. The cruises also have a Throwback Sea Day in
which retro pool and deck games, old-school dining and popular movies reset the
clock to 1987.
In all, seven ships are included in the latest extension of
Carnival Journeys, including the Breeze, Ecstasy, Freedom, Miracle, Pride,
Splendor and Sunshine.
