For the first time, Celebrity Cruises will sail year-round in the Mediterranean in 2023.
The 2,170-passenger Celebrity Infinity will sail in the Med in summer 2023, then extend its deployment through March 2024.
To start the winter season, the Infinity will sail nine- and 10-night Spain-Portugal cruises alternating between Barcelona and Lisbon.
Then the ship will homeport in Barcelona for 11- and 12-night sailings that visit the Moroccan cities of Tangier and Casablanca, the Spanish cities of Seville and Valencia, and the Canary Islands. Celebrity will call in Morocco for the first time since 2008.
The ship will then end the winter season by sailing 10- and 11-night Egypt-Israel cruises from Athens. The itinerary features overnight stays in Jerusalem (Ashdod) and Alexandria, Egypt.
