The classic game show "Deal or No Deal" is about to set sail on the Discovery Princess, the Princess Cruises ship that will embark on its maiden cruise from Los Angeles on Sunday.

The Discovery will host the live game show on its Princess Theater stage every voyage. The show will offer contestants the chance to win prizes, including $1,000 or a free cruise.

Two guests are selected at random to be contestants to play live on stage. Other guests can buy a game card for $25 to $50, aiming to achieve eight matches to win up to $1,000 or a free cruise.

The "Deal or No Deal" game show is also on the Majestic Princess, Regal Princess and Sky Princess, and there are plans to roll out the show for the entire fleet.

The 3,660-guest Discovery is the sixth and final Royal class ship and the 15th in the Princess fleet. The Discovery will homeport in Los Angeles and will sail the Mexican Riviera and the California coast until April 24. Then it will sail seven-day Alaska cruises from Seattle.
