EasyCruise to sail Greek islands

EasyCruise will send its only seagoing ship, EasyCruiseOne, to Greece in the summer of 2007.

Starting May 31, the no-frills cruise line will offer itineraries out of Athens to the islands of Mykonos, Paros, Ios, Milos, Amorgos, Naxos, Folegandros, Sifnos and Serifos, starting at $38 per person. EasyCruise will offer four- to seven-day itineraries.

EasyCruise founder Stelios Haji-Ioannou, a native of Greece, said, "We are very pleased to announce this new itinerary. For me, especially, it is very important as it brings EasyCruise to my home.

"I am very proud and honored to be able to show the rest of the world my hometown and the most beautiful islands in the world. The new itinerary is also unique. It is the only way you can visit up to 11 different islands in one go, a number of which have been previously unexplored as holiday destinations. We are confident that the itineraries will prove very popular with customers."

Like all EasyCruise trips, the schedule is designed to allow passengers to spend the day and evenings in each destination to experience the nightlife as well as the sights.
