Princess Cruises has delayed the Enchanted Princess’ inaugural season, citing the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak on European shipyards.

Currently under construction at Fincantieri’s shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy, the Enchanted Princess was originally scheduled to enter service in Europe in June. Sailings through July 31 have been canceled, and Princess has not set a new delivery date for the ship.

The 3,660-passenger Enchanted Princess is the fifth ship in Princess’ Royal class, preceded by the Royal, Regal, Majestic and Sky Princess.
