NEW YORK -- First European Cruises's 1,500-passenger European Stars
will offer weekly cruises from Barcelona to Marseilles, France;
Genoa and Naples, Italy; Messina, Sicily; Valletta, Malta, and
Palma de Mallorca, Spain, upon its debut in March 2002, said
company officials.
European Stars is a sister vessel to European Vision, launched
in June. First European, the North American marketing arm for
Genoa-based Festival Cruises, attracts 20% of its passenger base
from the U.S., said Makis Xenatos, chief executive officer.
