Oceania Cruises president Frank A. Del Rio is leaving the cruise line.
The departure was announced on Feb. 18, the day after Jason Montague returned to Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings as chief luxury officer to oversee the Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Oceania brands.

Del Rio had been expected to remain at Oceania and report to Montague.
In a letter sent to travel advisors, Montague announced that Del Rio would depart and thanked him for his "outstanding stewardship" of Oceania and assembling a strong leadership team. Montague also applauded Del Rio and his father, Oceania co-founder Frank Del Rio, for leaving an "enduring legacy on Oceania Cruises and the broader industry."
The younger Del Rio began as the line's president in 2023, months before his father retired as CEO of NCLH. The younger Del Rio began working for Oceania in the early aughts when he was 24 years old as director of destination services. He has also served as the brand's chief marketing officer and senior vice president of port destinations and onboard revenue. He had also worked for Regent Seven Seas and NCLH.
Regent Seven Seas president Andrea DeMarco is also departing following the arrival of Montague. Her last day is expected to be March 4.
