Holland America Line will add 99 rooms to its McKinley
Chalet Resort on the Nenana River in central Alaska.
The addition will include the first junior suites on the
property.
The three-story project will feature junior suites and standard
rooms with rustic-chic decor. All 55 junior suites will have balconies.
Each floor will have a central, open-air lobby with cozy
furniture. The third floor will have open public deck space with tables and
loungers so guests can take in the panoramic scenery.
HAL said the addition will be located just west of Denali
Square with views of Mount Healy and Denali National Park. It is expected to be
open for the 2019 summer season.
