Holland America Line said that as part of its partnership with Oprah Winfrey's O Magazine, it will offer a version of her monthly book club readings on all 14 of its ships.

The first novel to go fleetwide, "An American Marriage" by Tayari Jones, was recently announced as the latest selection in Oprah's Book Club.

Jones is scheduled to join the March 3 Caribbean cruise aboard the Nieuw Amsterdam, where O Magazine books editor Leigh Haber will be aboard to lead the discussion of "An American Marriage" with Jones during O's Reading Room.

HAL said that guests on other ships who are interested in participating in O's Reading Room can bring "An American Marriage" on board. Book club discussions are led by a member of the ship's staff, and selections change periodically throughout the year.
