Holland
America Line said it has enhanced its Flight Ease air booking tool in Polar
Online to make it more functional and better looking on the screen.
In
addition to the new design, HAL said the site’s functionality is now more
intuitive, allowing agents to select departure and return flights separately,
add a stopover flight segment, easily compare real-time flexible and restricted
fares, and review more detailed schedule displays.
Other new
functions include improved search filters, a "logic-driven calendar” to
guide flight planning based on ship departure and arrival dates, and a newly designed
schedule display that details information about type of aircraft, connections
and layover times.
The updated
Flight Ease also has improved navigation so that agents can move easily across
the booking flow from each step of the process, including search, select
departure, select return, summary and pay, HAL said.
