FORT LAUDERDALE — Royal Caribbean International on Sunday took the wraps off short films that are part of the cruise line's branded entertainment.

The two films were shot aboard the Allure of the Seas.

Designed to showcase the ship’s attractions, the eight-minute movies each tell a fictional story about passengers on the ship. "Royal Reunion" was directed by actor James Brolin, and the "Allure of Love" by actress Jenny McCarthy. Both celebrities also appear in the films. (Watch "The Allure of Love" below and click here to watch "Royal Reunion.")

The film premiere took place in the ship’s Ember Theater, before the ship departed on a six-night Western Caribbean cruise.

Royal Caribbean International CEO Adam Goldstein introduced the films and each of the 10 actors who portrayed various characters.

"This is our foray into branded entertainment — another chapter for us, another chance to deliver the 'wow' factor to potential guests," he said.
