Lindblad Expeditions will offer Iceland sailings starting July 7 on the National Geographic Explorer.
It is the third destination Lindblad will relaunch this summer, with service resuming in Alaska and the Galapagos in June. All sailings will be open to vaccinated guests 16 years of age and over for July sailings and 12 years and over starting Aug. 1. Minors can travel with a negative PCR test.
The 148-passenger Explorer will offer two alternating Iceland itineraries: a six-day Wild Island Escape, visiting fjords and volcanic isles along the country's western coast, and an 11-day Circumnavigation of Iceland sailing.
Both itineraries will provide Zodiac cruising, kayaking, hiking and daily walks. The ship will also carry a National Geographic photographer, Lindblad certified photo instructors and an undersea specialist.
