Michael Heath has stepped down as CEO of Aurora Expeditions after four years of leading the company.
Heath joined as CEO in 2022, succeeding Monique Ponfoortas and overseeing the Australian cruise line during a period of significant growth after the pandemic.
Aurora has launched two purpose-built ships since 2022, the Sylvia Earle and the Douglas Mawson, and invested more heavily in North America, which is now its largest source market.
Aurora's board is in the recruitment process for Heath's successor.
"Michael has played a pivotal role in leading Aurora Expeditions through the challenges of the post-Covid recovery period," said an Aurora spokesperson.
