Leahy, most recently president of Seabourn Cruises, will step in as CEO on Jan. 1, while Lindblad transitions to co-chair of the board, serving alongside current chairman Mark Ein, who will double as lead independent director.

The leadership transition also includes the hiring of Rick Goldberg as CFO. Goldberg has been CFO of Founders Table Restaurant Group.

"As Lindblad Expeditions moves into its 46th year, I am delighted and confident that the leadership of Natalya Leahy as CEO and Rick Goldberg as CFO will represent an energized, talented and experienced partnership, leading the company into our next phase of growth in the experiential travel space both at sea and on land," said Lindblad.

The company recently rebranded to National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions.

Leahy was Seabourn president for about 19 months, having been promoted to that position in March 2023. Leahy previously served in leadership positions at Holland America Group, including COO and CFO.
