Instead of sending the Norwegian Epic to Europe, Norwegian Cruise Line will deploy the ship to Port Canaveral, where it will sail seven-day Caribbean cruises this winter.

NCL said it canceled the Epic's Europe deployment due to a growing demand for Caribbean sailings.

The Epic will begin sailing eastern and western Caribbean itineraries on Dec. 17, 2023.

Guests booked on the European itineraries will receive an automatic refund and a bonus future cruise credit.

This is the second season of sailings NCL canceled in as many weeks. The line also canceled much of the 2024 Alaska program for the Norwegian Spirit so the ship can sail full ship charters.
