ATHENS, Greece -- The Olympia Explorer, the latest addition to the
Royal Olympic Cruises' fleet, was christened here June 7.
The Explorer has been sailing a fast-paced eastern Mediterranean
itinerary since early May.
The Olympia Explorer is the second new cruise vessel within the
past decade to fly the Greek flag, the line said; the vessel's
sister ship, the Olympia Voyager, was christened in 2000.
The ceremony was performed by the ship's godfather, composer
Vangelis Papathanasiou.
