Peter Deilmann cruise to visit Iceland and Greenland

Peter Deilmann is offering a 23-night cruise that includes Greenland and Iceland, departing from Hamburg, Germany, on July 25, 2009.

The MS Deutschland will also visit Scotland, the Faroe Islands and Copenhagen. Peter Deilmann said passengers will have the opportunity to tour villages and meet residents.

Cruise highlights include a stop at the 400-year-old town of Lerwick, Scotland; a full day in Akureyri, at the foot of a long fjord in Iceland; two days in Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital; and several stops in Greenland, including Nuuk (the capital) and Narsarsuaq (near where Eric the Red settled in 985).

The cruise is priced from $8,210 to $26,750. Deilmann is offering a $99 roundtrip airfare from 73 North American gateways; complimentary, pre-arranged shore excursions valued at over $700 per person; and transfers.
