Ponant Explorations Group is launching a yachting brand next year called Ponant Yachting, which will operate the company's catamarans.

Ponant will debut a third catamaran late next year, the Spirit of Ponant II, to supplement its current two, the Spirit of Ponant and La Désirade.

The 82-foot Spirit of Ponant II will accommodate up to 10 guests and will be exclusively available for chartering. The catamaran will have five staterooms, each measuring about 4,600 square feet. Yacht builder Lagoon is constructing the vessel.

Private charters will start at $74,930. The yacht will be based in French Polynesia. Ponant Yachting also sails in the Mediterranean, Seychelles and Caribbean.

Ponant Yachting sailings have a crew of four (captain, first mate, chef and hostess) and are all-inclusive. The brand is Ponant Explorations Group's fourth after Ponant Explorations, Paul Gauguin Cruises and Aqua Expeditions. Ponant acquired Aqua in January.
