The French cruise
line Ponant has named Navin Sawhney CEO for the Americas. He had previously
been chief operating officer.
Sawhney has worked in the past for Cunard, Royal
Viking, Sea Goddess, Holland America Line and Tauck.
“The Americas are a significant
part of Ponant's growth strategy,” said Herve Bellaiche, chief sales and
marketing officer. “Navin’s vision, expertise and leadership will be integral
to building the brand into a global player in the high-end cruise segment.”
