Gordon HoPrincess Cruises named Gordon Ho senior vice president of marketing, in charge of global public relations, marketing and digital activities.

The job is a new position for Princess. Most recently Ho has been chief marketing officer of the 24/7 Card and co-founder and president of MyMovieDeals.com. Prior to that he worked for 18 years at Walt Disney Co., leaving as executive vice president of worldwide marketing for its $4 billion Disney Studios Home Entertainment division.

Ho will report to Princess Executive Vice President Jan Swartz.

Princess also said its current vice president of marketing, David deMerlier, was named to the new job of vice president of international marketing.

Ho has a degree in industrial engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University.
