Princes Cruises has nixed two Regal Princess cruises out of Galveston, Texas, due to a need for "technical repairs," according to reports.

The line canceled its Oct. 27 Western Caribbean cruise with two days' notice and called off its following Nov. 3 cruise less than a week later, according to Cruise Industry News.

A cruise line spokesperson said the brand intends to sail its scheduled Nov. 10 cruise from Texas.

Guests affected by the cancellations will receive a future cruise credit of 50% of their original cruise fare, up from the 25% future cruise credit offered earlier this week. The credit can be used on rebookings made by May 31 for cruises departing by May 31, 2026.

Guests who booked a Princess Premier Package for either of the canceled voyages during the Captain Circle Loyalty Accelerator promotion will receive double the cruise credits with full suite guests receiving four times the loyalty points.
