Regent Seven Seas Cruises' new ship to be delivered in early
2020 will be called Seven Seas Splendor.
The name was chosen among 14,000 submissions in a
sweepstakes that generated 2,600 unique names.
Bonnie Larson of TravelPerks in Springfield, Oregon, was the
travel agent winner of the ship-naming sweepstakes. She won suite
accommodations on the christening cruise of the Seven Seas Splendor.
The 750-passenger ship will be similar to the Seven Seas
Explorer, delivered last year. The line also has ships named Seven Seas
Navigator, Seven Seas Mariner and Seven Seas Voyager.
