Starting sometime next year, members of Royal Caribbean Group's loyalty programs will have more say in how they accumulate points.
The new Points Choice program will allow Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea passengers to assign points earned on a cruise to any of the three brands' loyalty programs, regardless of which line they sailed.
Royal Caribbean Group already offers a status-match program so that guests are offered equivalent loyalty statuses with each of the three cruise lines. The new program is intended to build on that.
"Whether it's Royal Caribbean's Crown & Anchor Society, Celebrity's Captain's Club, or Silversea's Venetian Society, Points Choice makes it easier than ever to build loyalty wherever it is desired within the group," Royal Caribbean said.
Royal Caribbean did not announce a start date for the program and said it would share details about rules and eligibility before launch.
