Royal Caribbean said the Legend of the Seas, its third Icon-class ship, will begin sailing three weeks earlier than planned because construction is ahead of schedule.
The first sailing will now be July 11 instead of Aug 2. Royal Caribbean also added sailings departing July 18 and July 25. All three cruises will begin and end in Civitavecchia, Italy.
Royal Caribbean is enabling guests booked on the Aug. 2 sailing to switch to one of the new sailings. The Aug. 2 sailing from Barcelona will still serve as the official inaugural cruise.
