MIAMI -- SeaDream Yacht Club's refurbished luxury ship SeaDream II
is set to embark Feb. 10 on several charter cruises before
beginning scheduled cruises from St. Thomas March 2.
Co-owners Atle Brynestad and Larry Pimentel gave agents and
yacht brokers a preview of the 110-passenger ship, which Pimentel
said was not meant to compete with the mega-ships.
"This is a scheduled yacht," he said. "It's not comparable with
other genres."
Both the Sea Dream II and the SeaDream I, which will undergo an
identical refurbishment in April, will offer Mediterranean
itineraries during the summer. The ships originally sailed as
Seabourn's Sea Goddesses; SeaDream purchased the two ships last
August.
