Seabourn said its Seabourn Quest ship will offer small expedition-like shore excursions on its itineraries in Northern Europe this summer.

Part of the line's Ventures by Seabourn program, the optional tours are led by a team of scientists, scholars and naturalists and feature a guest-to-guide ratio of no more than 14 to 1.

Examples of the excursions include a Zodiac tour of Vigur island in Iceland, home to thousands of puffin, elder and Guillemot birds, and an extensive exploration of Trollfjord in Norway with a naturalist to explain flora and fauna and help spot moose and other wildlife.

In all, there are close to three dozen excursions scheduled during Seabourn Quest's summer season in Europe, Seabourn said.
