Silversea Cruises has appointed Roberto Verdino as senior vice president of revenue management.

He will report to chief commercial officer Barbara Muckermann and oversee revenue operations, including forecasting and commercial planning.
Verdino's career includes 15 years at Royal Caribbean International, Costa Cruises and in the hospitality industry.
Muckermann said Verdino's appointment demonstrates the brand's commitment to long-term growth after adding four new ships to the fleet since 2020 with two more ships, Silver Nova and Silver Ray, due out by 2024.
Verdino will be based at Silversea's Monaco office. He plans to focus on developing the brand's pricing strategies and market intelligence approaches to maximize international revenue opportunities.
