Silversea Cruises has named Barbara Biffi senior vice president of global sales.

Biffi first joined Silversea in 2007 as vice president of strategic marketing. She has also worked with MSC Cruises in digital and consumer relationship management and as chief product officer at Yonderbound. Biffi returned to Silversea in 2017 as vice president, brand.
She takes over for Massimo Brancaleoni, who has left the company to pursue other opportunities. Biffi is expected to relocate to Miami.
The move comes as Silversea has shifted to new leadership. Bert Hernandez took over as president of the luxury line in April after Barbara Muckermann left the position.
