Silversea Cruises
released its 2018 itineraries, saying that for the first time it will travel to nearly 1,000 destinations.
The line’s five
classic luxury ships will go to about 400 places, with the four expedition
ships covering almost 600 ports of call.
New to the
expedition fleet in 2018 will be Silver Cloud, which will be converted to an
ice-hardened vessel and exit the classic fleet after the new Silver Muse is
delivered in 2017. About 250 of the destinations listed for expedition
cruises will be first calls for Silversea.
In its
second season, Silver Muse will offer a 44-day Mediterranean grand voyage that
will hit 39 ports in nine countries, from the Greek isles to the
Balearics, from the French Riviera to Tuscany and the Amalfi Coast.
