Princess Cruises said it
plans to activate its Medallion technology on six additional ships in
2020, bringing the number of Medallion-enabled ships to 11.
The planned new additions are
to the Ruby, Grand, Enchanted, Emerald, Coral and Island Princess.
By the end of 2019, Princess
expects the personalization technology to be operative on the Caribbean, Regal,
Royal, Crown and Sky Princess.
Using the medallion
transmitters, guests can expedite their arrival, open their cabin door, order
food and beverage, play games, and find friends and family as they move about
the ship.
