Virgin Voyages' Valiant Lady is repositioning to Miami for the first time this weekend, beginning a transition to six- and eight-night Western Caribbean sailings for the winter season.

The Valiant Lady will join the Scarlet Lady at Virgin Voyages' Terminal V at PortMiami. The ship will sail an itinerary that includes calls in Roatan, Honduras; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. All itineraries will include stops at Virgin Voyages' Beach Club at Bimini.

Virgin Group founder Richard Branson will join the ship's first Caribbean sailing, which departs on Oct. 30. The sailing will include Halloween activities and an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most mermaids in one place while at the Beach Club.

The Valiant Lady entered service last March and spent its inaugural summer sailing the Mediterranean.

The line's third ship, Resilient Lady, is scheduled to debut on May 14, 2023.
