CLEVELAND -- To get tour operators and agents to make the best use
of its recently published travel planner, the Convention &
Visitors Bureau of Greater Cleveland created a trip contest.
Tour operators are eligible to win $500 on their customized
itineraries that include Cleveland by submitting the Cleveland
Rocks Us respond card distributed with the planner along with a
receipt that indicates the trip will be operated.
The GCVB will draw one name from the reply cards and itineraries
received before the March 17 deadline. The tour must take place
between April 1 and Dec. 31. The planner includes maps, information
on area attractions, sports, hotels, festivals, hotels and free
things to do.
