NAPLES, Fla. -- The Tourism Alliance of Collier County reinstated
its Rich in Pleasures summer vacation promotion.
This year the program includes discounts to hotels, attractions,
shopping and restaurants during the summer vacation season, which
the alliance defines as June 1 to Sept. 15.
Last year, 18 hotels participated. Room rates at the hotels
range from $49 to $259 per night; all pay travel agent commissions,
according to a spokeswoman.
Participating hotels include the Quality Inn & Suites Golf
Resort, The Registry Resort, the Residence Inn by Marriott, the
Staybridge Suites by Holiday Inn and the Vanderbilt Inn on the
Gulf. More are expected to sign on.
Some of the hotels are offering discounted rates, upgrades and
amenities, such as complimentary breakfasts, cocktails and the use
of recreation packages. Hotels will distribute the Rich in
Pleasures gift book with more than $500 worth of certificates.
Participating restaurants and attractions and their offers
include: Babcock Wilderness Adventures, $1 off admission per
person; Bayside, Gordon's Waterfront Grill and Terra Third Street
Grill, a free glass of wine; Caribbean Gardens, $1 off admission
per person, and the Lake Trafford Marina & Airboat Adventures,
$5 off per coupon.
Also, Miromar, various outlet discount offers; Naples Dinner
Theatre, a free glass of wine with admission, and Naples Princess,
$2 to $5 off, depending on the cruise selected.
Plus, Prime Outlets at Naples, a gift and coupon book; Seminole
Indian Casino, a free $10 gaming voucher; Snook Inn Restaurant, a
10% discount, and Tony's Off Third, a complimentary coffee
drink.
The Tourism Alliance of Collier County includes Naples, Golden
